MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review project requirements thoroughly and offer constructive feedback where necessary.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks to validate the functionality of software products, leveraging industry-standard libraries such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or equivalents.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of manual quality assurance (QA) principles, as well as proficiency in QA automation, adhering to established standards and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement.
- Maintains a balance between exploratory testing and a scripted test plan
- Conduct comprehensive testing across web based applications or ERP systems.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Take proactive measures to enhance QA processes and oversee all facets of software testing activities.
- Experience executes, writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience automated testing as per product requirement and provide testing reports.
- Prepare and manage documentation, including access control lists, to facilitate internal and external audits effectively.
- Document and track defects using bug tracking tools, collaborating closely with developers to expedite issue resolution.
- Execute performance testing procedures to ascertain system reliability, capacity, and scalability.
- Collaborate with development teams to conduct thorough security testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
- Performing any other tasks assigned by the line manager (s).
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- The incumbent shall have at least BE/BS (4 years) in Computer Science/Computer Engineering / IT or in a relevant field from an HEC recognized university/institute.
- At least 3 year of relevant work experience, preferably.
KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES:
- Certifications in Quality Assurance, Agile methodologies, or relevant fields.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services testing.
- Experience with database testing and understanding of SQL.
- Experience framework/development design patterns.
- Aware of load testing and security testing concepts
- Comfortable in handling multiple projects simultaneously
