SM & Director – Consulting, (Maritime & Ports) Strategy Transformation – KSA, Qatar, UAE
You will have experience in Maritime & Ports, transportation sector in consulting or strategy firm and hold a strong network within the Maritime & Ports, sector as a thought leader within this space.
You will have worked on strategy to execution and transformational projects in (Maritime & Ports).
- Maritime (Port terminals, Port Authority’s, maritime companies)
- Public sector clients, national, regional, municipal governments, and multilateral organizations
- Private sector, terminal operators, shipping lines or investment funds
- Strategy & Policy Transaction & PPP – Business advisory – Organization
- Infrastructure development Operations & Technology
- Solve complex business issues from Strategy to Execution.
- Lead and deliver large, complex client engagements
- Identify, design, and implement creative solutions for Maritime & Ports Transformational projects.
- Help them restructure their organizational structures, and service delivery models
Responsibilities
- Experienced in shipping lines, port operators, investment funds active in port concessions and vessel leasing domains, port authorities or governmental entities in the sector will also be considered.
- Understanding of the global supply chains for key commodities transported by sea, and the national and public sector priorities across the GCC to enhance ports’ competitiveness and hub positioning.
- Strong understanding of the latest plans and policies across governments and regulatory authorities
- Lead cross functional internal and client teams to develop and deliver operations strategies
- Implementation of cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Write and present winning proposals to support our clients in the Middle East.
- Proactively lead the drafting of proposals and marketing efforts
Experience
- Lead and deliver consulting assignments – develop content, project plans, distribute work to team members and oversee dayto-day delivery.
- Assignments are expected to be dominantly within the ports and maritime sector, but could be widen up to the broader transportation and logistics
- Strategic planning, operational improvement, data analytics, operational
- Strategy development, strategic transformations, capability led transformations
- Strategy implementation, corporate governance, operating models
- Whole Leadership, Business Acumen, Technical and digital Information analysis
- Structuring the requested information Designing and applying the methodology to follow
- Big 4 or leading strategy, boutique consulting groups experience with proven sales capabilities
Background
- Senior Manager, 8+ years of experience in Consulting and Maritime & Ports
- Director Level, 15+ years of experience in Consulting and Maritime & Ports
- Masters or MBA, Degree Qualified, Disciplines to Maritime & Ports,
- Master’s Degree in Engineering (Civil or Industrial preferred). MIM or MBA is desirable Engineering
