Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Ltd introduce Paid Internship Programme in Karachi (Oct-2023)
KS&EW is a dynamic and adaptive organization with enormous technical and professional capabilities. We are the sole shipyard of Pakistan and the largest industrial engineering complex of the country established in 1956 and currently functions under the administrative control of Ministry of Defense Production (MoDP), Government of Pakistan. KS&EW is an autonomous body with Board of Directors, headed by Chief of Naval Staff as a Chairman of the board.
Paid Internship Programme:
We offer Paid Internship opportunities to bright and fresh graduates having first class academic career in the following disciplines:
- BE / BS (16 years) Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgy /Materials, Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial, Naval Architect, Automotive and Chemical.
- B-Tech (Pass) / DAE (03 Years) diploma in Electrical, Mechanical and Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
Our program offers excellent training opportunities and hands-on experience to the qualified youth besides sharping their skills which will be helpful for their future employment. The selected candidates will undergo internship for a period of six months. Upon completion, good performers as well as HR needs, KS&EW may retain individual as Management Trainee Officer (MTO) for BE / BS and Management Trainee Supervisor (MTS) for B-Tech / DAEs for further 06 months. Monthly Stipend amount during internship is as follows:
- Rs 10,000/- for BE/BS candidates
- Rs 5,000/- for B-tech/DAE candidates
Eligibility:
- Candidates must have completed 16 years of education or any equivalent degree from any HEC recognized University with 2.5 CPGA in their last bachelor’s degree.
- Candidate must produce PEC registration (only for BE/BS candidates).
- Candidates must have D.A.E Pass Certificate from recognized Technical Board with “A” Grade.
- Maximum age limit for all candidates is 30 years. Cutoff date for age limit is 30-Nov-2023.
- Candidate must be the citizen of Pakistan.
Ineligibility:
- Employees (full time /part time) of any public or private sector.
- Students- (fulltime / part time) of any public or private educational Institutes.
Note:
- Preliminary written test shall be conducted online.
- Qualified candidates will be interviewed before final selection.
- Date and time for test and interview will be informed through email.
