What is a B2B Data Analytics Intern?
The Jazz B2B Analytics & Insights team is seeking passionate, consistent, and detail-oriented interns to join its team for a challenging and impactful project. You will be responsible for collecting and structuring data on companies across Pakistan’s B2B tech landscape. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in data collection, research methodologies, and industry analysis. The duration of the internship is 3 months but may be extended further based on performance and fulfillment of KPIs. The role reports directly to the Head of Biz Analytics & Insights and will be under the supervision of the Analytics Expert for daily proceedings and project delivery.
What does B2B Data Analytics Intern do?
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct online and field research to gather company data points such as ICT spend, financials (P&L), industry verticals, size, and stock information (if applicable).
- Utilize various data collection methods, including online databases, government resources, and communication with research institutions and industry experts.
- Liaise with government agencies and research institutions to acquire relevant datasets and reports.
- Ensure data accuracy by meticulously verifying and cleaning collected information.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of data collection strategies for efficient project completion.
- Assist senior analysts with data analysis and visualization tasks (optional, based on progress)

Requirements:
What are we looking for and what does it require to be B2B Data Analytics Intern
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in a relevant field such as Statistics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a similar discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent research skills with the ability to identify and access credible data sources.
- Proficient in using online research tools and databases.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with external contacts.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to manage time effectively.
- A demonstrated interest in the B2B tech industry is a plus.
- While industry connections are a plus, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work full-time for a minimum 3-month internship period. However, full-time availability for 6 months is preferable.
