Faculty Title:
Executive PS Configuration
Job Purpose:
- Perform the O & M of Datacom Core nodes and activities. KPI Monitoring and reporting To do regular KPI monitoring to see for any abnormality followed by resolution
Job Responsibilities:
- Network Availability To ensure PS Core availability at 99.999%. Taking preventive measures to maintain it including routines, ensure end to end connectivity and health checks.
- KPI Monitoring and reporting To do regular KPI monitoring to see for any abnormality followed by resolution. Provide required reporting to the concerned with the analysis based on the physical alarms and failure reasons.
- Upgrade/Patch Implementation to support the upgrade / patch implantation on adhoc basis for new versions / new services.
- Spare Parts Management to keep updated record of datacom nodes spares inventory and raise the requirement to Team Leads and coordinate with vendor and NOC team.
- To co-ordinate with vendor/NOC for emergency situation handling.
- To ensure that emergency plan (as provided by superior) is referred before engaging the vendor.
Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):Education:
- Bachelors of Engineering from HEC recognized university
Work Experience:
2 to 4Years of experience in the Datacom Operation Domain
Skills – Generic:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Power Point)
- Good Communication and Presentation Skills
- Teamwork
- Adaptability
Skills – Job Specific:
- handson Experience on routers, firewalls and switches.
- Problem Solving Skills
- Relevant trainings will be preferred.
- Innovation & Creativity
Special Requirement: Must be local of ISB OR RWP and should commit for stay atleast for 1 Year.
Others: Huawei Experience in the relevant field will be preferred.
