Position Summary:
As a Regional Veterinary Advisor, you will be based at our Dubai headquarters in the UAE and report to the MENA Veterinary Commercial Manager. In this role, you will have a significant impact on our partnerships with veterinary clinics, hospitals, and universities. Our team is responsible for driving the commercial, strategic, and executional agenda for Purina’s Specialist channel.
As part of our small and agile unit, you will also collaborate cross-functionally to provide support and ensure success across all areas of responsibility. This collaborative approach is crucial in achieving our shared goals and contributing to the overall success of Purina. Given the regional scope of your role, some travel may be required.
Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting our MENA VET business. This involves continuously developing, accelerating, and driving advocacy, reputation, and recommendation of the Purina brand within the MENA VET channel. This focus aligns with our long-term strategy and reinforces our commitment to excellence in the veterinary industry.

A day in the Life of..
- As a Veterinary Advisor, you will promote Pro Plan Veterinary Diet® product line
- Grow the Purina Veterinary business by using innovative sales and marketing concepts to achieve assigned goals in all key measures
- Work cross-functionally with regional teams, distributor channel, and counterparts across the region
- Contributing to the yearly activation plan aligned with the overall business strategy, and securing local activations and timings.
- Orchestrating Online & Offline activations.
- Administrating the expense budget in alignment with the Specialist Channel and MENA Veterinary Commercial Manager.
- Providing support to our VET business, including analyses and campaign follow-up.
- Influence with integrity by identifying each clinic’s business needs, and then leveraging consumer insights and trends to support your recommendations.
While owning a pet is not a requirement to join our team, having a curious mindset and a passion for understanding our consumers and their behaviors is essential.

- Previous experience in a similar role will give you a competitive edge.
- A strong commercial mindset and understanding of the Middle-East vet market.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, is essential.
- Strong communication and cooperation skills are crucial for effective knowledge-sharing and cross-functional teamwork.
- Thriving in a fast-paced environment, you have the ability to turn strategies into actionable tactics and execute them locally.
- Experience in the pet food and/or veterinary industry will be highly valued and give you a competitive edge.
- A degree in Veterinary Medicine is preferable, and experience working in a veterinary clinic is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English is a must, and proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
