Job Title:
Supplier Performance Specialist
In this interesting role you will be responsible for establishing a performance evaluation and tracking regime for existing and future Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC) suppliers and service providers, as required by contractual terms and conditions. Work with other internal stakeholders, such as Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Production, Stores, Ad Hoc Operations etc., to collect supplier related operational and performance data and compliance into a monthly performance tracking dashboard that includes on-time delivery, quality of products delivered, short delivered and back order (if applicable), to report out to Management. Work with suppliers/service providers to ensure Corrective Action Plans are proposed accordingly and implemented by them as per monthly KPI dashboard. Propose (supplier performance) improvement plans to Management on a continuous basis, while implenting performance penalties as required by Service Level Agreement (SLA) with individual supplier/service provider.
To achieve success in this role you will need to:
- Manage overall supplier and service provider contracts and database, and associated penalty clauses.
- Participate in supplier evaluation and selection process, as part of all tenders and ad hoc supplier/service provider selection.
- Ensure familiarity with supplier and servie agreement to zero in on SLA’s, which serve as foundation of supplier performance tracking.
- Review and update current supplier management processes and SOP’s and design & propose enhancement elements to the current processes, to ensure the ribustness and capturing of the elements related to supplier risks and oppportunities.
- Design, build and propose supplier performance tracking database, to incorporate a suite of measurement that includes, but not limited to On-time Delivery, Qulaity of Products Delivered, Full vs. Partial Delivery, Back Order Generation and Percentage, Delivery Rejection Rate and Frequency, Speed of Recovery, Non-Compliance (NC) Occurances etc.
- Maintain and update a library of legal/regulatory requirements for both local & overseas suppliers & supplies.
- Assist line manager in strategic planning of procurement activities by providing data analysis from shipping and delivering processes to identify bottlenecks and other issues.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as Production, Product Development and Quality Assurance, etc., in regards to product design and development to ensure full compliance with regulations throughout the complete product life cycle.
- Develop and mantain professional relationship/partnership with international & local suppliers, and identify opportunitiesto strengthen the coordination.
- Assist in developing local suppliers by providing conformity guidance & interpretation on SLA expectations.
- Collect and collate performance measurement data, enters into Supplier Performance Tracking database.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 4 years of relevant experience
- Airline Catering experience
- Supplier Performance Management Experience
- Caterer Experience
