Job Purpose:
To ensure that all operational delivery aspects of all assigned contracts are delivered in an effective, efficient and professional manner to the complete satisfaction of all our direct and indirect clients within the purview of his/her operational areas.
Key Job Role, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
• Electrical troubleshooting and testing of sub-assemblies and final product
• Able to look at schematics and understand the circuitry and what’s occurred
• Quality inspection on final system assemblies. Verify accuracy versus documentation and continuity check of all electrical panels.
• May need to complete design of custom automation equipment to customer’s specifications using Auto Cad. Duties include
• preparing complete machine designs, starting from a quoted concept, including customer approval layouts, assembly drawings, parts list and detail drawings.
• Work alongside Electrical Engineer, supporting the design, debug, validation and optimization of products.
• Involve in projects from concept while gaining exposure to the complete design lifecycle
• Ability to create layout sketches/drawings of where to place components
• Ability to look up BOM and see if parts are in inventory
• Work with Engineers to provide input with quote preparation • Assembles engineer’s concept into reality.
• Attention to detail
• Adheres to Inventory & Floor Stock procedures • Validate hardware and debug issues
• Ability to find part #s and provide that information to purchasing when we are low on electrical parts in inventory/stock.
• Ability to use power hand tools with no supervision
• Ensure that safe systems of work are applied and followed at all times where necessary e.g., permit-to-work, lock-out/tag-out, fall protections, PPE, etc.
• Ensure planned and un-planned tasks are carried out in accordance with documented method statements and where necessary, identify tasks in need of proper/revised work instructions / Method statements.
• Ensure conformance with applicable regulations, rules, procedures, and Client QHSE requirements
• Encourage staff members to report all unsafe conditions, unsafe act, hazards and near misses by using the in HPFM’s Near Miss / Hazard observation forms.
• Conduct toolbox talks programs as per the schedules for respective team members and maintain records of the same.
• Maintenance of Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements and demonstrate visible leadership to enhance conformance to IMS requirements.
