Sr Projects Manager – Project Management Information System (PMIS)
Job description:
- Senior Project Manager responsible for leading and managing a large-scale Project Management Information System (PMIS) implementation project.
Key Accountabilities
Main Duties & Responsibilities :-
Project Management :-
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end deployment of the PMIS solution, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, taking into consideration all aspects of the PMIS implementation.
Stakeholder Management :-
- Effectively communicate project objectives, progress, and outcomes to various stakeholders, including executive leadership, project teams, and end-users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
PMIS Implementation :-
- Leverage your extensive experience in implementing PMIS solutions, with a focus ideally on PMWeb, within the real estate and construction sector.
- Work closely with technical teams, vendors, and internal users to customize and configure the PMIS to meet specific organizational requirements.
Leadership :-
- Manage the project ecosystem, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of the PMIS solution.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment. Handle confidential and sensitive information with tact, poise, and diplomacy.
Frameworks, Boundaries & Decision Making Authority :-
- Operates within the framework and boundaries of DAMAC policies as well as overall organizational and governance frameworks.
- Authorized to take decisions as per the approved authorization matrix.
Qualifications & Experience :-
Minimum Qualification :-
- Master’s degree in engineering or economics. An MBA would be a plus.
- 12+ years of relevant experience in consulting industries out of which 8+ years of experience in Project and Program Management
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Real Estate industry (Feasibility & Concept Design to Construction Handover).
- Certified in one of the mainstream project management methodologies (PMP/ PRINCE 2)
- Experience in successfully leading enterprise-wide transformation projects
- Proven experience in successfully deploying PMIS solutions, with a preference for PMWeb.
- Excellent English communication skills , both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
