China Mobile Pakistan (CMPak) is a 100% owned subsidiary of China Mobile Communications Corporation. The pioneering overseas set up of China Mobile came through acquisition of a license from Millicom to operate a GSM network in Pakistan. Taken over in 2007 with a market share of only 2%, Zong has seen exponential growth in the last few years to increase it by 10 folds to about 20%. Currently, CMPak engages in the provision of cellular mobile voice and data services to the Pakistani market through 2G, 3G and 4G technologies.

Sr. Officer Controls & Investigation
Job Purpose:
- Review and evaluate the organization’s internal controls, processes, policies and mechanisms to ensure that they are adequate, effective and in compliance with Group/company policies and procedures.
- The resource is expected to assist controls & investigations in achievement of department objectives through planned reviews and ad hoc investigations & assignments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform Financial, Operational and compliance investigations.
- Preparation of system notes for process under review using narratives and/or flow charts and assist in identification of key risks and controls in place to mitigate such risk.
- Assist in the development of risk-based audit programs and investigation plans.
- Development of detailed working papers incorporating test schedules to ensure that the investigation objectives are met.
- Completion of investigation steps/tests assigned to self within agreed time & budgets. Keeping the in-charge/Manager informed of progress for any project time extension.
- Gather data for investigations through a variety of methods including interviews, financial research, analysis, etc.
- Responsible for discussing and validating any exceptions/ weakness/ concerns highlighted during review with client, identifying related risks, recommend corrective action/improvements and document relevant Management response
Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):Education:
- ACCA/CA Finalist or Bachelors degree
Work Experience:
- Prior experience is not mandatory, however will be preferred.
