What is Specialist Corporate Accounting?
Specialist Corporate Accounting is responsible for providing support in the execution of effective and accurate financial reporting along with business partnership with the respective business teams.
The role reports directly to the Manager Corporate Accounting and will be part of a 6-member team.
What does Specialist Corporate Accounting do?
- Support Manager Corporate Accounting in financial reporting deliverables including month end and year end close.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Develop partnership with the business teams and work closely with service operations team
- Work with cross functional stakeholders for input on complex accounting issues and forming an opinion on the accounting treatments under applicable IFRS.
- Provide assistance to the department to improve their coordination and productivity.
- Have close liaison with different departments/functions for the timely execution of deliverables.
- Participate in special projects as required.

Requirements:
What are we looking for and what does it require to be Specialist Accounting?
- ACCA, CA (Finalist) or MBA in finance.
- Minimum 3-4 years of related work experience.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communications skills.
- Exhibit excellent teamwork & collaboration.
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Decision making ability as response time is critical in this role.
- Multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Responding quickly and professionally under pressure
- Proactive, creative, and collaborative both for ideation and execution
