Job Purpose
Responsible for receiving and delivery of customer vehicles to ensure service is provided in line with franchiser’s policies and procedures. The role involves to achieve sales and customer satisfaction target of shop by fulfilling customer requirement within the policies and procedures. The job holder also have accountability of procuring small number of goods for immediate sales to customer over the counter.
Job Responsibilities
- Greet customer in the shop and understand the requirement asking relevant questions. Understand and offer our products or services.
- Prepare and issue the Repair Orders (RO) updating customer details into the database system; Describe customers’ requirements in the job card, determine the charge of service and products and getting it approved from customer
- Assign the job to available technician and ensure the jobs are completed in given time frame without compromising quality standard.
- Collect cash payments from customers and make change or charge purchases to customers’ credit cards and provide customers with receipts
- Monitor the workshop floor and ensure franchiser standard operating procedures are adhered and effective management of the technicians
- Answer phone calls and emails pertaining to sales and service queries or concerns in professional manners by acting as first point of contact and address their queries.
- Motivate the workshop team and maintain high morale to achieve highest level of service to customers
- Ensure safety and other regulations are followed as per requirement of the authorities.
- Ensure workshop tools / equipment are maintained for efficient running of the workshop.
- Develop and maintain filing systems so as to maintain sales records, prepare reports, and provide necessary information to the finance department
- Monitor and review sales performance versus the set targets of branches and proactively address problems in order to ensure consistent targets achievement;
- Provide sales status reports (daily, weekly, monthly) as may be required by the Sales Manager to ensure necessary actions are taken;
- Periodically analyze and update goods movement trends in shop and replenish with fresh stock in order to optimize inventory and minimize cost
- Comply with the company QMS requirements
Job Requirements
Qualifications
• Min. Higher Secondary, Diploma
• Automotive certificate would be an added advantage
Experience
• 3 years in auto service centres handling reception area
Knowledge & Skills
- Customer and Personal Service:- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Sales and Marketing:- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes selling tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
- Language:- Proficient in English language (Verbal and written), Arabic and Hindi would be an added advantage
- Active Listening:- Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
- Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships:- Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
- Social Perceptiveness:- Being aware of others’ reactions and understanding why they react as they do
