The Outreach and Research Programme of the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health has ten community-based field sites across Pakistan (including four in Karachi) and focuses on research for betterment of women and child health. The Department has a Nutritional Research Laboratory as well as an Infectious Disease Research Laboratory that cater to the needs of its research projects. It has well-acclaimed work to its credit both at the national and international level.

The Aga Khan University invites applications for the grant-funded contractual position of Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health.
Faculty Title:
Senior Research Assistant – Paediatrics and Child Health
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
- collect and enter patient’s data from PICU/CICU and enter in online portal
- validate data, prepare reports, and present in monthly meetings
- work collaboratively with Project Investigator/Supervisor for other related assigned tasks
- facilite meetings among the research team and junior research staff
- provide administrative and logistic support
- prepare and present weekly project-related activity reports
Requirements:
You should have:
- a Bachelor’s degree or Masters or equivalent from an HEC recognized or reputable foreign university
- at least one year of relevant work experience
- ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
- sensitivity to cultural differences
- ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
- ability to be an excellent team player
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- resilience and ability to cope with work pressure
- willingness to work in the communities/field sites
- good Computer and Report Writing Skills
