Introduction:
The Aga Khan University Hospital in addition to its five Hospitals creates access through its Outreach Services which include Clinical Laboratories, Outpatient Medical Centres, Pharmacy services, Home Health and other services. Outreach Services are designed to provide primary to secondary healthcare services to patients near their homes and are present in several cities across Pakistan. Outpatient Medical Centres offer a range of specialty clinics including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Cardiopulmonary, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics and Physiotherapy, and cater to children, adults, and elderly patients for general health checks or specific disease consultations.

Senior Medical Officer (Cardiopulmonary)
Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for providing medical supervision to all the diagnostic procedures performed at the cardiopulmonary diagnostic services.
Specifically, you will be responsible to,
- supervise and Perform Exercise Tolerance Test (ETT) by monitoring ECG rhythm as per the defined protocols and permission granted.
- perform physical examination and monitor patient’s progress vigilantly
- communicate the progress of patients to the concerned Consultant, as well as to the patient and /or family.
- assess patients and take consent from patient for the procedure performed as per the hospital protocols.
- fill out the Interpretation and conclusion data in the automated report of ETTin CPS-SAHL for reporting cardiologist of the day
- participate in educational activities, such as Grand Rounds, ECG conference, Journal Clubs, where applicable.
- keep aware of infection control practices and follow the same in workplace.
- enhance the technical skills of on board and trainee technologists by continuous education session.
Requirements:
You should have:
- an MBBS, Diploma (MCPS) or other additional qualification would be preferred
- at least 5 years post-MBBS related experience in cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures,
- strong interpersonal/communication skills
- ability to work independently and with teams
