Senior Consultant
MicroStrategy Developer:
MicroStrategy developer designs and codes application objects to collect data and analytics information from a variety of sources. Your duties include creating customized solutions, maintaining the overall business intelligence system, and providing technical support when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Build ETL pipelines that extract, transform, and load data from disparate sources to the data warehouse.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract and perform analytics on data.
- Develop and manage databases for healthcare analytics, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Create reports and dashboards in MicroStrategy that present analytical insights.
- Monitor and maintain data quality and integrity to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data.
- Work with business users to understand requirements and translate to product design and wireframes.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including business analysts, data scientists, and executives.
- Collect, refine, and prepare data for analytics and visualization. Manage and utilize the MicroStrategy platform to extract meaningful insights from it
- Prepare reports using various visualization and data modeling methods. Define new KPIs and consistently measure in the datasets
- Develop, manage and enhance data models across key metrics to provide best-in-class, transparent and accurate forecasting
- Partner with the business leaders and end user base exercising flexibility in a matrixed organization to identify emerging trends and implementing meaningful drivers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred
- 4+ years of experience in MicroStrategy development
- Experience in MicroStrategy schema design
- Excellent grip on defining parent-child relationship between attributes
- Clear understanding of defining application level objects
- Knowledge of Narrowcast administration
- Experience of MicroStrategy installation and Administration
- Hands-on experience of developing MicroStrategy dashboards/visual insights
- Expertise in designing and developing semantic layer
- Ability to process large amounts of data to identify key drivers and develop robust models for various types of analysis and communicate effectively to stakeholders
- Managing the inputs and enhancing the user experience
