Job Title:
Senior Consultant – Qlik
QlikSense Developers are responsible for extracting data from various sources, using the QlikSense script editor, managing QlickSense Servers, designing dashboards, and creating various QlickSense solutions for a company’s clients.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing technical solution for Qlik Sense / Qlik View Business Intelligence platform, ensuring continuous availability
Expertise in developing Qlik Sense application along with good exposure to the Qlik Sense extension development
Coordinating with other BI development and ETL team for the development and deployment of Qlik Sense applications across different environments
Should understand data and good understanding of SQL, to write efficient queries to generate ad-hoc reports and deep dive data analysis
Provide input on proposing, evaluating and selecting appropriate design alternatives which meet client requirements and are consistent with client’s current standards and processes
Responsible for monitoring and optimizing performance of Qlik Sense applications
Troubleshooting issues related to performance, user access, extensions, service interruptions etc
Perform load/regression testing on dashboards where needed
Manage security rules, data connections, extensions
Advanced skills optimizing Qlik data models and data libraries for specific use in Qlik Sense
Install, configure and upgrade BI (Qlik Sense & Qlik View) application and other 3rd Party tools
Requirements:
4+ years of hands on experience in Qlik Sense / Qlik View development, dashboarding and data modeling and reporting (ad hoc report generation) techniques.
Experience developing reports/data visualizations with printed page form factors.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownership.
Must have strong analytical skills and can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
Must have strong written, verbal, and listening skills
Active Secret clearance
Elicit and document data requirements and specifications from functional and technical subject matter experts and system owners.
Perform data analysis and understand data gaps as it translates into Business Intelligence deliverables.
Implement complex enterprise system configurations and end to end design and development.
Knowledge of database design techniques and strong SQL skills
