Job Title:

Senior Cargo Agent

We are pleased to announce this incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of Qatar Airways, as a Senior Cargo Agent in our office in Karachi, Pakistan

The selected candidate will provide assistance in generating maximum cargo sales in order to meet or exceed the set revenue/tonnage target for stations and to provide customer service in sales and operational areas liaising with GHA at stations and HDQ.

Accountabilities:

Assist to generate maximum revenue by visiting cargo agents, tele-sales and promotional activities.
Arrange and deliver necessary cargo stationaries, forms and labels to GHA and apointed sales agent to have smooth handling and comply with regulations.
Maintain a close coordination between QR space Control and customer by ensuring their shipments are transffered, delivered on time and maximum priority is given to shipments.
Prepare the monthly marketing report for sales achieved at stations and hand over to the responsible person so as to capture information.
Coordinate with Customers/Cargo Claims Supervisor at HO and forward all necessary claim documents, handle discrepancies at stations and administrative issues related to stations.

Qualifications:

Relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualification with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Understanding of Cargo Sales, Cargo Procedures export and import.
Knowledge in Cargo Sales will be an added advantage.
Command of English language.

You must have the legal rights to live and work in Pakistan to be considered for this role
