Senior Architect
As a Senior Architect, you are required to develop, design, and implement start-to-finish project roadmaps and high-level strategy. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop comprehensive architectural solutions, determining everything from site locations to projected timelines. Being in a senior-level position, the incumbent has to have considerable professional experience in commercial and residential design, including a proven record of leadership and a portfolio of successful projects.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Typically involved in all stages of the architectural process, from conceptualizing and planning to executing and evaluating.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to determine architectural and design needs.
- Create and present extensive reports to internal and external teams, outlining progress, project needs, and goal markers.
- Ensure all projects adhere to local and health regulations. Coordinate and supervise the work of junior architects and drafters, ensuring that the design meets the standards, codes, and regulations.
- Responsible for delivering high-quality, innovative, and sustainable architectural solutions that meet the stakeholders needs and expectations.
- Draft sketches, detailed estimate, and tender documents for projects once finalized by stakeholders and management.
- Site visits from time to time to make sure the execution is going on as per drawings and without any hinderance.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to policies and timely pursuance of certifications and approvals where necessary.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- A masters degree or higher in architecture or a related design discipline (preferred) from an HEC recognized institute.
- 6-8 years of experience in architecture with at least 02 years of experience in a leadership role. Portfolio of previous projects is required.
KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES:
- Strong technical, creative, and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Aware of the latest trends, best practices, and innovations in the field of architecture.
- Proficient in computer assisted design software and equipment.
This is a Project based position.
