Position Summary:
A plant Engineer is responsible for:
- Leading the implementation and execution of the factory asset maintenance program.
- Eliminating unplanned stops and optimizing maintenance cost.
- Increasing asset intensity and efficiency of Plant.
- Driving Periodic equipment maintenance ensuring sufficient supplies of spares.
- Effective management of maintenance budget for the plant.
- Driving investments and improvement projects in collaboration with R&D and key suppliers.
A day in the life of Plant Engineer:
- Establish and control maintenance routines to ensure that maintenance activities are scheduled and executed in time, followed by vertical start up.
- Lead implementation of the maintenance methodologies across Plant.
- Ensures availability of maintenance resources to implement and execute maintenance routines and methodologies.
- Provide input for annual maintenance budget. Report and track maintenance budget according to guidelines. Analyze over/under spending and put in place corrective actions.
- Create and manage competence building plan (CBP) for the team. Organize technical training program for plant maintenance staff.
- Build up maintenance methodologies competencies within Engineering, on topics from roles and responsibilities matrix.
- Support the implementation of AM pillar methodologies. Coordinate with production team to eliminate quality defects, safety risks and chronic technical issues.
- Responsible to link production and engineering by being an active member of the local committee.
What will make you successful?
- Minimum 3 years of Maintenance and Improvement experience in senior role preferably in a Food Manufacturing or Consumer Goods industry.
- Knowledge on Aseptic Products Processing, Filling and Packing.
- Experience on Beverages Filling and Packing lines, Blow Molding and Aseptic Filling.
- Personnel Supervision of technical teams, contractors, or other 3rd parties.
- Participation in the development of Engineering projects as part of a multidisciplinary team (preferably including different products and technologies).
- Participation in the start-up of technical equipment(s) and/or production line(s)
- Self-Management following defined KPIs/Objectives, and proactively tracking them.
- Exposure to TPM, Preventive Maintenance and Early Management Pillars
