Synopsis:
To provide basic support and assistance to ensure the smooth functioning of the daily operations of the CEO Office. Performing a variety of routine tasks such as running errands, maintaining order and assisting with hospitality.
Accountabilities:
Hospitality Services:
- Prepare and serve different beverages (Arabic coffee, cappuccino, espresso etc), refreshments and snacks daily and during meetings and events (comfortable serving VIPs and larger number of guests)
- Assist in setting up an clearing away after meetings and events, including food and beverage services
- Ensure the Board/meeting rooms are set up according to executive standards (note pads, water, pencils etc).
Administrative Support:
- Scan documents, make copies, run internal errands and other clerical duties as required.
Office Maintenance:
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the office space, including conference rooms, kitchens, and restrooms.
- Coordinate, along with the office assistant, the maintenance of the CEO office, bringing to her attention or addressing directly, if appropriate, any facility-related issues promptly.
Education & Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably corporate or high end hospitality setting
- High school degree or diploma equivalent
- Confidentiality and discretion
- Polite, well presented, respectful demeanour, excellent personal grooming
- Knowledge of handling of basic pantry equipment: dishwasher, coffee machines, microwave, fridge
- Knowledge of serving/table etiquette. This employee will deal with VIPs such as sheikhs, ambassadors, media, CEOs – he/she must be able to do things such as serving Arabic coffee the correct way, knowing how to enter a meeting to clean up the table with discretion without disturbing the guests, serving the CEO his lunch in a professional/courteous manner
