Faculty Title:
Assistant Supervisor (Workshop) – SADA
Qualification/Experience:
– Minimum Matric Qualified
– Minimum 08 years of experience in metalworking and painting/finishing.
– Experience with various painting methods and finishes, including spray painting, brush painting, and staining.
– Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is a plus.
Required Skills:
– Proficiency in metalworking techniques such as cutting, welding, and shaping.
– Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
– Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
– Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist the Workshop Supervisor in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the workshop.
– Specialize in metalworking, including cutting, welding, and shaping metal materials.
– Perform painting and finishing of metal and wood projects, utilizing a variety of techniques and finishes.
– Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in all projects.
– Collaborate with the Workshop Supervisor and other team members to develop project plans and timelines.
– Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
– Provide guidance and support to workshop staff and students as needed.
– Assist in inventory management and procurement of materials and supplies.
