As the business expands, we are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and results-driven Regional Cargo Sales Manager to join the UK & Ireland Cargo Management Team in London, Heathrow.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the sales strategy for the UK and Ireland, to drive revenue growth and expand our market share.
Some of the tasks include:
• Develop and execute the UK & Ireland Sales Strategy, aligning it with the company’s overall goals.
• Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities and markets to drive growth
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with regional global accounts and key stakeholders
• Effective marketing of Qatar Airways Cargo products and services.
• Analyse market trends, customer feedback and competitor activities to adapt and improve strategies
• Leverage data and analysis to drive strategy and influence decision making at all levels of the organisation.
• Establish and maintain pricing structures, contracts and negotiations with customers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless cargo operations and customer service.
• Provide regular reports on sales performance and market insights to the management team.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Qualifications:
About you
• Minimum of Bachelor / University level or equivalent level with at least 6 years of relevant experience within air cargo/ airfreight industry
• Proven experience in cargo sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategies that drive revenue growth
• Exceptional negotiation, communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to build and maintain relationships
• Deep knowledge of the cargo industry trends, regulations and best practices
• Proven experience in analysis and reporting, and strong business acumen
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and adapt to a dynamic market environment
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Have the legal right to live and work in the UK
