Qatar Airways invites application for Purchasing Agent – QACC in Doha, Qatar

Job Title:

Purchasing Agent – QACC

As Purchasing Agent within QACC, you will be responsible to undertake all daily purchasing administration duties with the objective of efficient execution of purchasing function on operational level. You will be representing first level of interaction with external suppliers, purchasing drivers and QACC internal users.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute routine purchase orders for daily direct items.
Coordinate with supplier on order requirement changes (adjustments to delivery times, ordered quantities, cancellations).
Coordinate with user departments regarding specifications of Ad Hoc orders and substitution proposals.
Review manual purchase requests and communicates the requirements to Purchasing drivers.
Liaise with local suppliers and retail outlets to source the required products to as per received specifications and with efficient logistics arrangement for timely delivery.
Follow up supplier’s compliance to requirements.
Reconcile cash invoices and manual purchase requests for Ad Hoc orders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with minimum 1-year experience
Numeracy skills with good computer knowledge, especially in Outlook & Excel
Effective coordination skills
Ability to work under pressure
Knowledge of Arabic language is preferred
