Job Overview:

We are currently assisting our client in their search for a talented Project Manager to join their dynamic team. The Project Manager for Asset Monitoring will assume a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating all facets of projects related to the installation and maintenance of monitoring systems on customer sites on and offshore. This role calls for a blend of technical proficiency, project management acumen, [construction] site knowhow and the ability to foster effective collaboration with both internal teams and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans encompassing scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs.
2. Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring transparent communication and a clear understanding of project requirements, expectations, and timelines.
3. Resource Allocation: Efficiently coordinate and assign project resources, including engineers, technicians, and equipment, to meet project milestones.
4. Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and oversee cost control measures to ensure projects stay within budgetary constraints.
5. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and formulate mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and delays.
6. Quality Assurance: Assure that all project deliverables adhere to quality standards and comply with pertinent industry regulations and norms.
7. Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and technical specifications.
8. Health and Safety: Prioritize and enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
9. Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update internal and external stakeholders on project status, progress, and any pertinent modifications.
10. Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve project issues, conflicts, and impediments to keep projects on course.
11. Team Development: Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, offering leadership and support to project teams.

Qualifications:

Drivers licence and the ability to live and work in the UK without visa sponsorship is essential (for security reasons)
– Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
– Demonstrated experience in project management, preferably in asset monitoring or related industries.
– Strong technical background, with a solid understanding of sensor-based monitoring systems and instrumentation is essential.
– Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is advantageous.
– Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
– Proficiency in project management software and tools.
– Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
– Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
