About the job:
Were Hiring Project Lead-DISC in the International NGO Industry, responsible for all aspects of the projects, including technical implementation, financial and administrative compliance, and oversight and supervision of project staff.
Skills Requirements:
- Strategic decisions and deploy budgets and resources to deliver results in a cost-effective way.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Excellent diplomatic skills and proven ability to work effectively with government officials, partners, donors, and stakeholders at high levels.
- Experience working with government entities and staff to strengthen the health system.
- Ability to monitor and assess the performance of self, other individuals, and/or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
Education Requirements:
- Masters Degree (MSc, MPH, MBA, MPA) or equivalent
Experience Requirements:
- 7 years related work experience in public health or related field
- Including 5 years of experience working in SRH/FP/MNCH

Role Specifications:
- Oversee the project management, including M&E, finances, compliance.
- Facilitate senior-level dialogue with the national and sub-national governments, donors, and partners, to ensure that insights about the DISC are elevated to influence policy.
- Develop and implement training programs for project staff and partners to enhance their skills and knowledge in self-care and DMPA-SC.
- Ensure collaboration with the other relevant departments and coordination with other DMPA-SC/self-injection initiatives within Pakistan.
- Coordinate with a team that includes members from different departments and/or based in different parts of the country, including HSS, Programs Operations, SBC, and Evidence
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the DISC Core Team, manage and maintain relationships with existing/new partnerships and with the key stakeholders in the SRH ecosystem.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive demand generation plan to increase awareness, acceptance, and uptake of DMPA-SC and self-care products among target populations.
