Job Title:
Product Development Manager – IT & Software Solutions
You must be a Product Development Manager, with experience in IT & Software Solutions, to join our client’s newly established Research & Development team. Our client sells Software Solutions to both Government entities and private sector organizations.
Candidates must be based in the UAE to be considered for this position, with a valid driver’s license due to client site.
Working hours for this role are:
- Monday to Thursday, 7:30am – 3:30pm
- Friday, 7am – 1pm
- Alternative Saturday’s, 7:30am – 12:30pm
- They work on a “one Saturday on, two Saturday’s off” model, so any candidate would only have to work two Saturday’s a month.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define product strategies, manage resources, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products that align with company goals and client/market needs.
- Lead the product development process from end-to-end; including ideation, planning, implementation and launch.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define product vision, roadmaps and goals.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing and sales departments to prioritize product features and functionalities.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and successful product delivery.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs and competitive landscape.
- Drive business innovation by exploring new technologies and product enhancements to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Monitor and evaluate product performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize product success.
- Ensure adherence to product development processes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration and continuous improvement within the product development team.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 10+ years of proven experience in a product management or product development role within the IT or Software industries.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of product development methodologies, including agile and waterfall.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on-time and within budget.
- Solid understanding of product market research, competitive analysis and customer insights.
- High adaptability and understanding of change within the evolution of a startup.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (fluent) and Arabic (nice to have).
