Note: This is a project-based role, once the project is completed, the job opportunities in the factory will be available with preference for the project team to join the factory structure, considering the suitable opportunity and sustained performance during the project.

Due to nationalization, we only consider Saudi national.

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist with solid experience in procurement to join Nestle MENA – Green Field Project Team where Nestle is investing to build a new Factory in Saudi.

In this role, you will be responsible for understanding, developing, validating, communicating, and implementing sourcing strategies for the capital investment project (CAPEX/ Lease), following the GLOBAL Strategic Sourcing Process, Governance (tools and templates) and policies developed by Nestrade at the same time applying the Nestlé MENA Procurement Model.

You have to ensure to meet the objectives of the investment project charter, to adhere to the design specifications in alignment with Nestlé standards, in addition to guarantee an efficient implementation including new or changing items/services and drive continuous improvement.

Focus of this position is to lead the Procurement activities of the project since initiation, planning and design, until execution and closing. This includes all S&IM, CAPEX, Lease, (Consultants, Contractors, OEMs, Suppliers, etc.)

Be the SPOC of all procurement related topics amongst key market and global stakeholders to ensure timeliness project execution, benchmark buying performance, leveraging of the global /regional procurement benchmark along with the market specificity

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

  • Understand, communicate, and help to implement sourcing strategies on a local level (at the market) including new or changing items/services and identify improvements to be targeted.
  • Perform supplier market analysis, category analysis, supply risk analysis and develop TCO understanding, as well as the map of how sourcing process and channels work within the locally managed category (At Market)
  • Gather data and business requirements and convey local requirements to transmit them to Local Business Partners and Local Sourcing teams and Above Market Category teams for setting actions/strategies accordingly
  • Prepare and execute negotiation events seeking best TCO contracts and beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers for the managed scope.
  • Ensure Compliance to Nestlé’s business principles, policies, standards, Procurement Policy, Best Practices/ Standardized Model, Nestlé Supplier Code, etc. 
  • Establish relationships with stakeholders to integrate category plans and outcomes in local budgets and price planning processes as required.
  • Integrate innovation, renovation, and post award cost improvement elements from suppliers into Nestlé’s innovation and renovation processes. 
  • Ensure effective contract management follow up activities are in place (e.g. SAP Contracts, purchasing info records, master data, etc.). 
  • Ensure proper project closing and H/O to the relevant stakeholders.

What will make you successful…

  • Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering discipline or other related disciplines.
  • Min. 3-4 years of experience in procurement area.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering competitive advantage to the business through development and implementation of sourcing strategies for the spend category in charge over a sustained period (2-3 years).
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead projects. 
  • Demonstrated successful use of risk management, analyses, responsible sourcing, and supplier relation management. 
  • Negotiated successfully in cross functional and cross market teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and capability to work and communicate with different teams.
  • Commitment to a strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, safety, compliance, and quality.
