Job Title:
Prescription Engineer – (Transmission & Distribution)
As a skilled and motivated Product Certification Specialist you will take on the crucial responsibility of managing the customer pre-tender process for our products. You will be tasked with ensuring that our electrical products meet the specific requirements, prescription and standards of potential customers (including authorities, contractor, consultant, end users) before they issue tenders or requests for proposals.
Job Description:
- Stay up to date with industry regulations, standards, and requirements related to product certification
- Evaluate product/project requirements against established engineering and industry standards, making recommendations for adjustments if necessary (IEC, IEEE, GOST and others)
- Coordinate and conduct product testing and evaluation processes, both internally and through third-party laboratories, to verify compliance with specific standards.
- Examine technical documentation provided by end users, such as engineering teams, contractors, and suppliers, to verify accuracy and completeness.
- Manage the end-to-end certification process, which may involve submitting applications, coordinating with external certification bodies, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Prepare for and participate in audits and inspections conducted by external certification agencies or regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product certification or quality assurance within a relevant industry.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations related to product certification.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and evaluation procedures.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to assess compliance issues and propose solutions.
- Proficiency in using relevant software applications for documentation and data management.
