Punjab Power Development Company Limited is operating and maintaining the 2.82 MW Pakpattan Hydropower Plant since February 2017 and 7.64 MW Hydropower Plant since November 2018 which have been constructed by Government of the Punjab with the financial assistance of Asian Development Bank under their Renewable Energy Development Sector Investment Program (REDSIP). These projects are contributing cheap and environment-friendly energy to the National Grid.
