Job Title:
Network Security Engineer (Trellix & Qualys)
This role aims to empower Information Security Operations Management to oversee protection systems by enhancing access control configurations and establishing protection standards based on best practices. It also involves upgrading security systems and addressing issues that arise both within and outside the organization.
The role includes the following tasks:
- Enforcing security policies to achieve system security objectives.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the organization’s business continuity and disaster recovery programs meet requirements.
- Utilizing cybersecurity products or security control technologies to mitigate discovered risks to acceptable levels.
- Ensuring the alignment of cybersecurity detection and protection capabilities with the organization’s cybersecurity strategy and policies.
- Documenting and escalating cybersecurity incidents that may have immediate or ongoing impacts.
- Analyzing logs from multiple sources to identify potential network security threats.
- Evaluating and monitoring cybersecurity aspects of organizational practices through system application and testing.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in delivering planning and management services.
