Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
Role Description:
The role is responsible to support the business plan, implement and monitor overall procurement and supply chain strategy.
Responsibilities:
- To lead, coordinate, manage, and administer all procurement activities for the company and its Shared Service Business Units
- Identify and implement cost savings and process improvements initiatives which meet or exceed company objectives and prepare strategy for implementation for review with Line manager.
- Handle all major purchases, special projects purchase etc
- Ensure that procurement procedures are compatible with and support Company and Business Unit requirements.
- Procure selected Goods/Services as required by Complexity/Level of Price and act as buyer relief for Department as required.
- Prepare quote evaluation analysis for recommendation to Purchase Committee.
- Identify regular procured goods/ & services for frame agreements, introduce suppliers and implement frame agreement
- Oversee the rationalization and selection of suppliers that meet business requirements at the lowest total cost.
- Direct and ensure the effective achievement of functional objectives of procurement by, managing performance, developing, and motivating team, so that their individual and collective performance is of the required standard and meets the current and future needs of the business.
- Maintain awareness of and compliance with company Quality Control / Compliance policy and Standards.
- Shares of responsibilities in Procurement Procedures and Systems, Logistics, Purchasing Function, Accounting, Quality Compliance, Vendor & People Management
