Job Title:
Pharmacy Technician – Tawam Hospital
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Medication Preparation and Dispensing:
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications as per prescriptions.
- Compound medications, including elixirs and ointments, using standardized recipes.
- Prepare sterile medications, including those used in chemotherapy.
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain adequate drug supplies by assessing PAR levels and reorder points.
- Work with drug wholesalers and pharmaceutical companies to procure medications.
- Address drug and supply shortages.
- Patient Interaction:
- Obtain and verify patient medication histories.
- Assist in medication reconciliation processes.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the management of investigational drug studies.
- Technology and Automation:
- Operate pharmacy automation systems for medication dispensing.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication orders using technology.
Qualifications:
Required:
*خريج برنامج أدوية فني معتمد لمدة لا تقل عن سنتين يفضي إلى الحصول على دبلوم صيدلة.
* Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program of NLT 2 years duration resulting in being awarded a diploma in Pharmacy.
