POSITION SUMMARY
Develop and coordinate implementation of a Market Health Strategy, with appropriate objectives, measures, and targets. Provide leadership and support across Market to inspire and empower people to implement the strategy, realize their employee health goals and create pride in their achievements.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Create a compelling vision for employee health and inspire employees to embrace health as a value, excel in compliance & continuously improve, leveraging NCE Foundations and Advanced Practices (eg TPM and Lean Value Stream). Champion a behavioral approach to health.
- Identify priorities, current & future challenges, and opportunities for change. Develop a holistic Market Health Strategy (physical, mental, work-related, non-work-related) and implementation plan, aligned with Group priorities & objectives and overall Market OMP.
- Guide implementation of Nestlé health policies and standards, and relevant aspects of the Nestlé Safety & Health Management System (NSMS). Develop and continuously improve health programs, practices, and tools, to deliver compliance and performance improvement.
- Ensure training & coaching is provided to managers and team leaders to help them to take ownership, and lead & manage employee health within their area of responsibility. Provide personal coaching and support to Management Team, and other senior managers in the Market.
- Develop and coordinate networks of health professionals and medical specialists, health champions, and other contributors. Develop their functional and leadership competencies and ensure a robust succession plan for key positions
- Ensure managers receive trusted guidance & support on identifying, assessing and managing health risk factors and opportunities, and on case management. Identify expertise and good practices from inside and outside Nestlé, and communicated them internally
- Ensure compliance is regularly audited and performance assessed, and the results used to drive further improvements. Promote effective communication of successes and learnings, and recognition for good performers and contributors

- Engage with external stakeholders (eg regulatory bodies, trades unions) on employee health topics to build long term, positive relationships. Participate in external forums to benchmark with other companies, share Nestlé practices, and provide input into development of local regulations, standards, and initiatives.
