Job Title:
NEAR – Time Planning Coordinator
Job Purpose:
- JOB PURPOSE
To track manpower resources demand fluctuations in Near-Time planning, to make recommendation for
optimisation of resources and to ensure communication and smooth execution of adjusted plans.
2. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES LINKED TO OBJECTIVE AREAS
Plan:
– Adjusts existing planning based on resources demand fluctuations triggered from changes in flight
schedules, aircraft types, passenger loads, trends and last minute requests
– Span of time work frame is 7 to 10 days ahead
Execute:
– Tracks, reviews and recommends periodic roster adjustments (including dial- up or dial- down
recommendations), using available tools to monitor and interpret demand information; tools may include but
not limited to flight schedules, aircraft types, load factors, forecasts, and adhoc demands, for the purpose of
identifying gaps in operational coverage with the active roster.
– Recommends adjustments (except during black-out periods) and overtime scale-up/scale-down
requirements to ensure optimal coverage on the current/ active roster, whilst adhering to the rostering
governance framework
– Obtains approvals for implementation from the concerned Controller/Specialist of the assigned
department.
– Executes necessary changes on active/live roster.
– Establishes and communicates the adjusted resource plan to enable the most updated flow of roster
information into downstream applications like Real-Time RTC and HRDirect, ensuring accurate
representation of revised roster patterns.
– Identifies opportunities for optimal coverage and continuous improvement in rostering processes and
practices, aiming at business process enhancement, cost reduction (OT), and productivity improvement.
– Analyses the accuracy of reports and recommendations post-operation, evaluating resource and
workload coverage within the Near- Time planning window of 10 3 days prior to the day of operations.
– Maintains a weekly record of Near- Time roster changes to quantify volumes and instances of scale- up/
scale-down

Experience:
3+ years of experience working in a relevant operational role within the aviation sector

– Ability to analyse and interpret data for decision-making and planning purposes
– Proficient computer literacy skills
– Proficient English language skills
– Proficient communication skills
– Proficient verbal, writing and presenting skills
– Advanced planning and organizing skills
