Role Purpose | Effectively coordinate and manage various project tasks in support of the design and construction management teams. |
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES:
- To oversee the planning and construction of all Pumping stations, Pipes design, Flow rates works.
- To review all the technical documents, scope of work, Safety, method of statement, environmental documents.
- To coordinate with contractors to ensure they follow NEOM- ETSD procedures while executing the works.
- Monitor the full cycle of projects from beginning of construction till the delivery of the project.
- Reviewing technical submissions.
- Working together with other businesses.
- Supporting other project managers and directors within the business and in the market.
- Keeping up to date with environmental matters; being aware of policy and developments.
- Presenting technical data or project results; both technical and non-technical.
- Keeping track of the progress of projects from through to construction and handover (or handling just one section of a large project)
- Controlling budgets at the project level.
- Ensuring that work is completed to a deadline.
- Supervising any construction activity of Mechanical / infrastructure project.
- Using computer simulations to analyze, for example, potential dam failure.
- Monitoring flood levels at times of high risk.
BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-7 years’ experience engaged in design and construction of infrastructure projects including,
- Electrical, Power transmission lines, and RMU its technical components.
- Ability to read and interpret designs and shop drawing.
- Knowledge of engineering and project principles, practices and procedures, applicable laws
- Proficient in MS Professional Office Suite including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint
- Working in an environment with people of different backgrounds, races and nationalities
- Ability to work full-time variable shifts including days, evenings, nights, and willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed.
- Deep technical knowledge in Mechanical engineering.
- Ability to conduct snag list testing and commissioning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Speak and write English fluently.
