Job Summary:
Technical Service Delivery Manager to oversee our business intelligence operations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Telco industry domain and be proficient in stakeholder/client management, team leadership, and technical expertise in data platforms such as Cloudera, Vertica, Postgres, and SLJM.
Job Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder/Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and clients to understand their business needs and ensure BI solutions align with their requirements.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing data platforms such as Cloudera, Vertica, Postgres, and SLJM for efficient data management and analysis.
- ETL Processes: Oversee Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure smooth data flow and integration across systems.
- Team Management: Lead a team of BI analysts and engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure successful project delivery.
- Performance and Quality Management: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the performance and quality of BI solutions, and implement strategies for improvement.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Identify and resolve complex technical issues and challenges related to BI operations and data analysis.
- Continuous Improvement Planning: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance BI processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Operational Process Awareness: Maintain awareness of operational processes within the Telco industry to effectively design and implement BI solutions that address specific business needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in Telco BI domain with a minimum of 6 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of Cloudera, Vertica, Postgres, and SLJM data platforms.
- Expertise in ETL processes and data integration techniques.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve goals and objectives.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in performance and quality management practices.
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
