Managing Consultant Architect
Solution Architect:
- Understand client needs from both historical/warehouse and operational/transactional perspectives.
- Define and build the company’s data architecture, including tech stack, databases, data warehouses (warehouse, lakehouse, datastores, marts, etc.), from scratch.
- Define company data assets, design, formulate and develop ETL jobs to populate data models.
- Support application integration for analytics and reporting.
- Design and develop data models, database schemas, and data-oriented solutions using best practices.
- Define data integration and migration strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement data governance policies, data quality standards, and security measures to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including data models, dictionaries, ETL maps, and performance requirements.
- Establish and enforce standards for data warehousing, analytics, and ETL systems.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, including research, management, development, and operations.
- Apply a disciplined approach to testing software and data, identifying and resolving anomalies.
- Build new API integrations to support increasing data volume and complexity.
- Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models, enhance data accessibility, and promote data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Lead and drive the team to deliver solutions on time and with high quality.
- Write unit and integration tests, contribute to engineering documentation, and maintain an engineering wiki.
- Perform data analysis to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
- Work closely with all business units and engineering teams to develop a long-term strategy for the data engineering platform architecture.
- Define and implement governance, access, and security policies.
- Ensure optimal use of resources in terms of cost and performance.
- Ensure non-functional requirements are addressed.
- Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
