Roles & Responsibilities:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES :
Service Delivery Assurance:
- Facilitate strategic planning meetings with internal and external stakeholders to develop key plans relating to all financial aspects of the NC1 and NC2 hotels.
- Review and evaluate financial documents submitted by the Asset Owner and Hotel Operator to ensure integration with existing Finance and Accounting systems and strategies.
- Develop cross functional relationships needed to ensure successful delivery and integration of plans between NEOM, the Hotel Asset owner, and the Hotel Operator.
- Monitor key financial risks and issues related to the project and regularly provide updates to Director Hotel Operations.
- Support the Asset owner and Hotel Operator when submitting key documents to NEOM throughout the planning stages, meeting timeline deliverables and reaching common milestones.
- Support the overall Planning and Technical Affairs team in developing innovative solutions to any potential challenges.
- Contribute to the overall project completion, managing risks / issues, and reporting as required
People Management:
- Pivotal role within the Hotel Operations team to provide clear expectations of the Asset Owner and Hotel Operator’s responsibilities giving regular feedback and guidance to them.
- Effectively manage relationships with internal key departmental stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of the hotel and assist the hotel operator to overcome any challenges relating to their operation.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Role Purpose:
Reporting to the Director – Hotel Operations, the Manager – Hotel Commercial Integration will produce and facilitate all required commercial processes and procedures in respect of the NC1 and NC2 hotels in conjunction with approved NEOM Finance and Accounting protocols. Will liaise with the Asset Owners and Hotel Operators to review their monthly submissions and work within set timeline deliverables to ensure all commercial obligations are met
Due to the complex nature of operating hotels within secure access sites, the role holder will be competent in mega / giga event strategic planning and cross functional operations, whilst holding key knowledge specifically related to Accounting and Finance within the Hotel and Hospitality industry in the GCC region
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.
- 8+ years in a role specializing in Finance roles within the Hotel and Hospitality industry.
- Prior experience within large scale events where multiple events / hospitality functions operate.
- Strong communication skills.
- Previous experience with SAP / Ariba
- A clear understanding of client service.
- Organized with excellent time management skills.
- Proven track record in managing stakeholders to deliver a project.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- An understanding of the complexity of mega / giga events.
