Role Purpose:
• Collaborate on the development of NEOM Border Security policies, processes, and procedures for NEOM Sindalah border security.
• Conduct border security threat and vulnerability assessments on NEOM land, air and maritime borders and BCPs.
• Implement approved security policies for NEOM Border Security while ensuring alignment with global and Base Economy standards and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure NEOM border security policies and procedures relating to border control and surveillance are compliant and interoperable with standards and guidelines.
• Conduct threat and vulnerability assessments for Sindalah maritime borders.
• Support the development of security regulations for Sindalah entry points.
• Develop processes and internal procedures to manage and coordinate a unified approach to border security that facilitates the entry of authorized goods and people to Sindalah.
• Define border security requirements and identity potential foundational, pioneering, and leap frog technologies to mitigate illegal border crossing.
• Review security consultants technical and commercial proposals for border security solutions to ensure their proposed scope of work meets operational requirements.
• Work alongside other stakeholders to enhance Sindalah border security with surveillance, detection, and analytical capabilities.
• Ensure transparency, compliance, and regulatory awareness to ensure an open and verifiable processes for all goods and people entering and exiting Sindalah.
• Develop training processes that assess border security training needs, establish training objectives, create training action plans, implement border security training initiatives, and evaluate and revise training.
• Ensure Sindalah border security policies, systems and solutions are compliant and interoperable with global travel standards and guidelines.
BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to work within a team to effectively contribute to the team’s objectives and company’s vision.
• A firm understanding of surveillance and control operations to enable NEOM border security.
• Experience working with government agencies to define and implement of border security procedures and supporting management processes.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in maritime border security or relevant agencies.
• Extensive experience with Maritime border security threats, technologies and mitigation strategies.
• Extensive knowledge of the threat-based risk assessment and risk mitigation processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess a collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of multinational team on joint projects.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, Security or other related discipline
• Prior experience in offshore Security and Control
• Experience in Maritime surveillance, detection, and assessment systems and technology
• Native/Fluent written and verbal English
