Logistics Planning Support Coordinator
Job Purpose:
dnata is one of the world’s largest air services providers offering ground handling, cargo, travel, and flight catering services across five continents. We operate in 38 countries and 136 airports globally.
As a Logistics Planning Support Coordinator, you will coordinate all aspects of dnata Technical Services (dTS) logistics activities with a focus on Ground Support Equipment (GSE) transfers, recovery services, domestic and international movements, as well as obtaining necessary approvals from relevant authorities, this also includes Airport Security Pass management.
Additionally, the role involves supervision of dTS staff and specialist contractor to ensure timely completion of load tests and calibrations for all relevant equipment.
In this role, you will:
• Plans and supervises dTS logistics, particularly focusing on Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) transfers, recovery services, both domestic and international movements.
• Obtains necessary approvals from the relevant authorities for the smooth execution of logistics operations.
• Ensures all security passes are obtained in a timely manner to meet operational requirements.
• Oversees and ensures on-time completion of load tests and calibrations for all equipment, maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Maintains effective communication with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless logistics operations.
• Leads the dTS pass team in managing the submission and receipt of security passes for various stakeholders, including visitors, contractors, and equipment.
• Provides effective leadership to the dTS pass team, highlight safety and fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Liaises with dTS planning and finance teams to clear billing process/invoices.
• Analyses data regularly and provide reports to senior management.
• Ensures customer satisfaction and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relevant to the role.
Qualifications & Experience:
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in Business administration/Engineering
• Bachelor’s degree: 2-4 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management in a Ground Handling/Automotive/ Manufacturing, Automobile Industries.
• Diploma: 4-6 years of experience in in Logistics, Supply Chain Management in a Ground Handling/Automotive/ Manufacturing industries.
• Proven experience in logistics planning and supervision, preferably in the aviation or technical services industry.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to equipment load tests, calibrations, and security pass management.
• Proficient in leading teams
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Proficient IT, Computer Literacy and MS Office applications.
