Multan Waste Management Company invites applications for multiple vacant posts in Multan, Pakistan

Rapid urbanization coupled with increasing economic activity in the Multan City resulted in the generation of high volumes of solid waste bringing solid waste management at the forefront of environmental concerns. Worsened condition (of the City and insufficient and obsolete Solid waste management (SWM) infrastructure underlined a greater than ever need for effective measures to be taken in this regard.

The City District Government Multan(CDGM), desired to improve the system of Solid Waste Management in the City and the CDGM found its existing organizational capability inadequate to achieve intended results to protect public health, safety and welfare through comprehensive and Integrated Solid Waste Management, and, upon its request, the Chief Executive of the Province allowed formation and incorporation of the MWMC, inter alia, to effectively manage, regulate and control Solid Waste in Multan City under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance to implement the integrated solid waste management (ISWM) which is a dire need of the future for saving public health, land, economic resources and the environment at the large.

Faculty Title:

  • Manager Gis
    • Minimum 16 (sixteen) years of education in the field of Geo-informatics / GIS from the HEC recognized university.
    • Minimum 07 (Seven) years of relevant experience in a similar role.
    • Strong technical knowledge and skills and advance expertise in IT and computer programming.
    • Max age: 40
  • Assistant Manager Landfill
    • Minimum 16 years of education in Environmental Sciences/Environmental Engineering/ Environmental Management from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission.
    • Three (03) years of work experience in the field of solid waste management.
    • Max age: 30
  • Law Officer
    • LL. B with additional qualification of Masters in Business Administration / Public Administration from HEC recognized institution.
    • Candidate must be enrolled as an Advocate of Hight court, having not less than Three (03) years standing as an Advocate of lower Court before the closing date.
    • Max age: 40
  • Executives (m-10)
    • Graduation from HEC recognized institution.
    • Candidate shall have minimum (02) years of experience in office management with public / Private / Government organizations and preference will be given to the candidate having working experience in Public Sector Company.
    • Max age: 30
  • Executives (m-11)
    • Intermediate from HEC recognized institution.
    • Candidate shall have one (01) year experience of office management and drafting with public / Private / Government organizations and preference will be given to the candidate having working experience in Public Sector Company. Candidate shall have good knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and power point.
