Faisalabad Waste Management Company invites application for multiple vacant posts in Faisalabad, Pakistan

Faisalabad Waste Management Company (FWMC) was established on 13th July, 2013 under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984, it started working under an agreement named as SAAMA (Services And Asset Management Agreement) which was executed on 11th December, 2013 between different stake-holders including CDGF, TMOs and FWMC.

Before the establishment of the FWMC, the responsibility pertaining to solid waste management was lying with SWM, a department working under CDGF. There are four towns which fall under CDGF i.e. Lyallpur Town, Madina Town, Jinnah Town and Iqbal Town which are transferred to FWMC for all type of sanitations and waste management services.

Faculty Title:

  • Chief Financial Officer
    • Qualification and Experience:  A member of a recognized body of professional accountants with at least five (05) years relevant experience, in case of Public Sector Companies having total assets of five billion rupees or more;
    • or a person holding a master degree in finance from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission with at least ten (10) years relevant experience, in case of other Public Sector Companies.
  • General Manager Operations
    • Qualification and Experience: Minimum 16 years of education in the field of  Management Sciences /Engineering/Operational Management/Production/Environmental Sciences or equivalent from HEC recognized university. Foreign Qualification thoroughly recognized by HEC will be preferred.
    • At least twelve (12) years of experience in the large industries, preferably in Waste Management, Urban Infrastructure, and Environmental practices/Industrial Practices Management exposure of running Operations with excellent administrative skills. Corporate experience will be will be added advantage.
  • General Manager Hr. & Admin
    • Qualification and Experience: Minimum 16 years of education in the field of HR/Business Administration/Public Administration (Specialization in HR)/Social Sciences or equivalent from HEC recognized university. Foreign Qualification thoroughly recognized by HEC will be preferred.
    • At least twelve (12) years of experience in well-established public/private organizations with excellent administrative skills. Corporate experience will be added advantage.
  • Company Secretary
    • Qualification and Experience:  A member of a recognized body of professional accountants;
    • or a member of a recognized body of corporate or chartered secretaries;
    • or a person holding a master degree in business administration or commerce or being a law graduate from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission with at least five (05) years of relevant experience in well reputed organization.
  • Chief Internal Auditor
    • Qualification and Experience:  Member of a recognized body of professional accountants; or
    • (b) Certified Internal Auditor; or
    • (c) Certified fraud Examiner; or
    • (d) Certified Internal Control Auditor; or
    • (e) Person holding a master degree in finance from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission with at least five (05) years of relevant audit experience in well reputed organization.
