About WASA:
Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) was established by Lahore Development Authority during 1976 for the planning, designing, development and maintenance of water supply sewerage and draining system in Lahore. Various Directorates were established to accomplish the assignment. An essential component of this mandate is the delivery of a safe, reliable and efficient water supply to satisfy the demand of all sectors.
Faculty Title:
- Project Director
- Education:
- B.Sc. in Civil / Mech. Engineering or equivalent from PEC recognized university/ institute
- Post-Graduation in relevant field and Foreign Qualification will be preferred
- Experience:
- Minimum 15 Years Professional Experience in the field of public health engineering/ sewerage system/ wastewater treatment plants in Public or Private Sector.
- Experience of preparation and/or implementation of projects of international funding agencies/banks will be preferred.
- Candidate must have good communication and managerial skills.
- Age: Max age 55 years
- Procurement & Contracts Specialist
- Education:
- B.Sc. in Civil / Mech. Engineering or equivalent from PEC recognized university/ institute
- Post-Graduation in Contract Management will be preferred
- Or
- Masters/Bachelors degree in Business / Public Administration/ Contract Management
- Foreign Qualification will be preferred
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 Years Professional experience of procurement/ contract management in Public or Private Sector.
- Should have experience of carrying out procurement on international/mega projects.
- Age: Max age 45 years
- Environment & Social Specialist
- Education:
- B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering/ Env. Sciences from PEC recognized university/ institute
- Post-Graduation in relevant field and Foreign Qualification will be preferred
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 Years Professional Experience in the field of sanitation/ Public Health/ Env. in Public or Private Sector.
- Experience of working on environmental & social safeguards of projects financed by international funding agencies/banks will be preferred.
- Candidate with good communication and managerial skills will be preferred.
- Age: Max age 45 years
- Admin & Finance Specialist
- Education: Masters in Finance, ACCA/CA Inter etc. or equivalent
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 Years Professional Experience in Public or Private Sector.
- Experience of working on projects of international funding agencies/banks will be preferred.
- Candidate with good communication and managerial skills will be preferred.
- Age: Max age 45 years
