Human Resource Solutions International (HRSI) invites applications for Junior / Middle Management Position – Operations Head in Karachi – Daulatpur – Sanghi – Faqirabad, Pakistan

Our Client, a Karachi based company, seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following role:

Faculty Title:

Junior / Middle Management Position – Operations Head

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimum management of manpower to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Monitor inventory with stringent control on product variation to achieve desirable stock variance objectives.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for resolving operational, safety and security matters.
• Manage administrative and security arrangements of the assigned location for smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with all SOPs, HSE procedures, and safeguard people, plant & processes.
• Lead the operations team to ensure compliance of Terminal Operations with company’s standards and guidelines, maintain Terminal contingency and emergency response plans and meet necessary regulatory requirements.
• Implement operational standards on-site, such as the Terminal Operations SOP, HSE standards and Asset Maintenance System.
• Suggest Opex and CAPEX projects for improvements and internal control mechanism for improvement of compliance and standards.
• Supervise all operational activities on-site, including product handling activities (vessel / truck / rail /pipeline receipt and/or delivery) according to defined procedures.

Education:

• Minimum 16 years of education, preferably Master’s from a renowned HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder institution, preferably in Engineering.

Experience:

• Preferably 3-8 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 2-6 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position or in one level below position.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and regulatory compliance
• Relevant certifications in HSE and industry standards will be preferred
• Familiarity with emergency response and crisis management protocols
• Proficiency in developing and implementing automation and control systems for inventory
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
