Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
CCNP Security Certified.
Preferred professional certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate (CBROPS)Proven Experience:
Extensive background in network security, demonstrating proficiency in firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention, and VPN configuration.
Solid experience in Routing and switching, Nexus, VPC, and Port Channel configuration.
Strong understanding of networking protocols, security architectures, and risk management.
Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.Job Description
Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization’s data, systems and networks.
In-depth knowledge of security technologies and products
Troubleshooting security and network problems
Responding to all system and/or network security breaches
Ensuring that the organization’s data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities
Daily administrative tasks, reporting and communication with the relevant departments in the organization.
Strong understanding of network protocols and concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Switching, VLANs, Wireless Networks, Load Balancing, Voice, and routing protocols.
Experience with firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, VPNs, PKI and other security technologies.
Determine what the organization needs in a network and computer system before building it out.
Oversee installation of all network hardware and software, as well as necessary systems upgrades and repairs.
