Job Title:
IT Manager (GRC, Network, Infrastructure)
You must be an IT Manager, with 10+ years of experience, responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability and security of technology infrastructure. You must possess strong leadership skills, communicating excellently in English and be willing to work in a fun, fast paced and ever-evolving industry.
Responsibilities:
- Device and manage infrastructure strategy (e.g., servers, networks, storage, virtualisation and telecoms system) to ensure it supports business growth and scalability plans.
- Establish and maintain governance and compliance standards.
- Device and manage the overall Information Security strategy and Enterprise Risk Management framework (disaster recovery) that suits business continuity management program goals.
- Device and manage a mechanism that helps identify risks and control weaknesses and escalate these accordingly.
- Work to mitigate and remediate identified deficiencies in a timely manner and engage wider team support.
- Produce related flow charts, process narratives (SOPs) and risk and control matrices, segregation of duties/process owners’ matrices and any others required.
- Produce presentations and educate IT users on all IT Compliance related initiatives, trends and developments.
- Conduct periodic systems and policy audits and report back to senior management on findings, recommendations, and timelines.
- Ownership of creating, maintaining, communicating IT policies and monitoring and enforcing compliance.
- Facilitates collection of evidence to support investigations of possible security or policy breaches.
- Lead and/or collaborate in IT/system related initiatives/improvements and projects as required.
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and security of the company’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, and remote access solutions.
- Oversee the operations of the company’s data centres, including server provisioning, hardware maintenance, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Evaluate, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring the company’s cloud-based systems are secure, structured, performant, and cost-effective.
- Establish and manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and outsourcing partners, ensuring service level agreements are met and contracts are optimized.
- Third-party Supplier and Vendor Risk Management – performs third-party supplier risk assessments to ensure supply chain risk is managed throughout the supplier’s lifecycle.
- Oversee, collaborate and provide absence coverage for IT day-to-day operational tasks related to Network and Connectivity, Data Centre Management, Cloud Infrastructure, and other IT operational tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
- Fluent in English, written & spoken.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing infrastructure teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results.
- Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies and best practices, including servers, networks, storage, virtualization, data centres, cloud platforms, and telecommunications.
- Solid understanding of network protocols, security principles, firewalls, VPNs, and network architecture
- Experience in designing and managing secure infrastructure environments.
- Proficiency in cloud infrastructure platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), including experience in cloud migration, scalability, cost optimization, and security.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IT infrastructure, security, and data protection.
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements are met.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Communicates in a positive and inclusive manner always demonstrating respect towards others regardless of job level.
