Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
You will play a critical role in the success of projects and initiatives related to market rate repositioning and conversion of current and former multi-family properties that are nearing. You will work closely with our asset management team in assessing the financial feasibility for a range of potential short- and long-term project outcomes in the core areas of operations management, capital reinvestment, distressed asset planning, and acquisition/disposition
Responsibilities:
– Management responsibility for a mixed real estate portfolio
– Establish pre-operating plan for all the properties
– Work with Property Managers and Representative to manage the assets on a day to day basis
– Create and review yearly budgets
– Assist and Review Property Manager reports in maintaining accurate, up-to-date records (including rent rolls, delinquency reports, rental status)
– Review various daily and month-end activity status reports
– Track and report upcoming lease expirations and other critical dates
– Participate in Lease Review, manage and track negotiation progress
Negotiate Insurance agreements
Desired Candidate Profile:
– Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics with focus on Real Estate a plus
– 7+ years of professional experience in real estate management
– Good knowledge of real estate accounting as well as rental and lease law Language skills
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Experience in developing executive level presentations
– Fluent in English. French is a plus
– Ability to travel
