Synopsis:
As an Inventory & Logistics Controller the candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the inventory and operations of the GSE store. His responsibilities will revolve around ensuring that the GSE store operates efficiently, maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating with various stakeholders, and implementing best practices to optimize inventory management.

Accountabilities:
- Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of all GSE parts, tools, and equipment in the store.
- Regularly conduct physical inventory counts to reconcile with system records.
- Procurement and Supply Chain:
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely acquisition of GSE parts and equipment.
- Work closely with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and pricing for GSE inventory.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality control procedures to verify the authenticity and functionality of incoming GSE inventory.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to GSE inventory, transactions, and inspections.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics for management review.
- Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Team Coordination:
- Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance, operations, and finance to meet organizational goals.
- Provide guidance and support to store staff, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5 years) in inventory management, preferably in the aviation or GSE industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, procedures, and best practices.
- Familiarity with GSE parts, tools, and equipment, including their specifications and usage.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in supply chain management or related field (optional, but preferred).
