Introduction:

The affiliated Aga Khan University Hospital has well-equipped investigative services and provides state-of-the-art clinical facilities.
The Department of Emergency Medicine at the Aga Khan University, Karachi is the regional leader in establishing high quality clinical service and academic programs. The current clinical facility consists of 75 beds including Triage, Fast track area, separate Adult and Paediatric emergency sections including separate Resuscitation rooms, Adult Resus step down unit, three bedded Cardiac emergency, an eight bedded Clinical decision unit (CDU) as well as an air born infection isolation (AIIR) room.
The AKUH Emergency provides care to approximately 65,000 patients per year. Most patients require complex medical and surgical/trauma care. In addition, the Department supervises a satellite urgent care center.

Responsibilities:
You will be expected to be involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research along with specified administrative and clinical responsibilities including floor coverage.
Requirements:
Candidate must have completed structured post-graduate training (Emergency Medicine) from a reputable institution and possess FCPS Part I/ FRCEM primary or equivalent and eligible for FCPS-II/FRCEM OSCE or equivalent, with a valid PMDC license.
