Infrastructure Engineering Lead, Financial Services – Riyadh – Full Time
You must be a Senior/Lead Infrastructure Engineer, working within Financial Services, who is eager for a new challenge with a leading Financial Services entity in Riyadh. You will be responsible for leading and optimizing the day-to-day operations of IT Infrastructure systems to ensure proper implementation of robust and scalable systems.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in analysis of the current IT infrastructure status and the IT development plans, so as to identify the requirements of the systems infrastructure and provide recommendations to build and maintain a scalable and agile IT infrastructure.
- Support the design of all related IT infrastructure aspects (hardware, server, storage, desktop) in order to maintain the efficiency of operations.
- Assess the quality of the storage and servers’ infrastructure and propose the implementation or suppression of hardware and data storage equipment.
- Execute proactive and reactive maintenance of IT infrastructure and implement all the required improvements and modifications.
- Monitor and evaluate infrastructure performance, identifying and recommending improvements while ensuring timely and accurate response to technical issues.
- Monitors and control the implementation of operating systems tests, and any required configurations or changes needed.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks for infrastructure systems such as backups.
- Ensure processes and requirements are met regarding backup and maintenance availability.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in IT Infrastructure Engineering/Management within the financial services sector.
- Excellent knowledge of IT systems and applications
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong working knowledge on backup, VMware and HCI.
- In depth understanding of infrastructure components and building highly available computing environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
